Indian forces martyr three more Kashmiris in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Indian security forces continued their violationof human rights in occupied Kashmir whenthree more civilians were gunned down in Srinagar on Tuesday. According to the Indian media, Indian forces' firing resulted in the martyrdom of three Kashmiris. This has raised the death toll of Kashmiris to 75, ever since the riots erupted from July 8. Protests in occupied Kashmir erupted on July 8, after the killing of freedom fighter Burhan Wani, who was branded a terrorist by the Indian government. Thousands of Kashmiris took to the streets to protest against Wani's killing and braved Indian atrocities. So far, more than four thousand Kashmiris have been injured and 75 have been killed by Indian forces. Pakistan and Turkey as well as other states like the USA have voiced their concerns over the loss of life in occupied Kashmir. Pakistan has sternly condemned India and urged the international community to make India desist from violating human rights in the occupied territory. The Indian government has imposed a curfew in some parts of occupied Kashmir and also cut off internet andmobile phone services as well as placed Hurriyat leaders under arrest.
