Drought, poverty, meagre income, lowerquality of life have compelled a couple to abandon a newly born female child. The child was taken care of by police forsome days. later on she lived in a child home run by a voluntary organisation.Fortunately, she received excellent guidance from some elderly teachers. With the help of several welfare schemes implemented by government, she could complete her graduation. Shecould understand the philosophy of life at an earlystages of life due to several set backs. She passed all of her examinations in distinction and in graduation, she stood college first too. Her major subjects at degree level were economics and science. She wondered about the increase in population, lack of proper infrastructure, increasing pollution levels, rural issues such as the problems in agriculture, poverty, unemployment, lower levels of income, saving, investment, gender discrimination, child labour, health issues, lower quality of education imparted in government educational institutions, higher levels fee structurein the private educational institutions, etc in her village. She was also worried about the dominance of upper caste people, corrupt politicians, inability ofthe bureaucracy to solve several persisting problems facing the nation, border disputes with other neighbouring nations, farmers suicides, widening gaps of income among the people, etc.She wanted to do something concrete to solve all these problems. She had to work hard as well as prepare for the civil services. Though there were several obstacles, she wanted to become a civil servant at any cost. The coaching institutes meant for weaker sections did help her in getting a better guidance. Though she was alone and poor, she could manage the time well as she has the burning desire to solve the problems being faced by her nation!. She could become a foreign serviceofficer after passing the civil services examination. She worked as an ambassador and high commissioner for about four years. She did solve some of the persisting issues with other nations with her professional diplomacy. Friendship, trade, culture, social, economic relations etc with other nations could improve due to her high calibre attitude and boldness!. Both the foreign governments and her own government conferred on her with the nations highest civilian awards.Due to improvements in her knowledge, awareness, maturity levels, etc she did become an administrative service officer of her nation.
