Defence Day(Urdu:یوم دفاع‎ALA-LC:Yaum-i DifāʿIPA: [jɔːm-e d̪ɪfɑː]) is apublic holidaythat is celebrated asnational dayto commemorate in the memory of Pakistan's successful defence againstIndiathat marked the ceasefire in the1965 waron 6 September.
