Flood warning for nullahs of Chenab, Ravi

According to latest Meteorological & hydrological conditions,medium to high Flooding is expected in the Nullahs of River Chenab and Ravi during next 24 hours. Low to Medium Level Flooding is also expected in the Hill Torrents of D.G. Khan Division. Flood Warning Centre said on Tuesday that, River Indus at Kalabagh, Chashma and Taunsa is in Low Flood Level. River Chenab is also in low flood at Marala head works near Sialkot. River Kabul is also in low flood at Nowshera.Weather forecast for today:Rain-thunderstorm with few heavy falls are expected at scattered places in Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, R.Y. Khan divisions), KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, D.I. Khan divisions), Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Zhob and Kalat divisions. Mangla- Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1234.30 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.801 MAF.
