God has instilled in each one of us an element of His Divine persistence. It is a"never give up" ethic, that has a name called "perseverance"which, when exercised, will grow within and take us far in life.Perseverance will allow us stare down barrels of"impossibilities" and see nothing but "Possibility" - we will not see: "Impossible" rather "I'm Possible!"In order for anyone to achieve perseverance, he/she must absolutely practice and overcome thefear of failure. To lose the fear of failure, even if he/she has (seemingly) failed at something one must try again and again and again, until succeeding. And,with each successful step, one forgets any frustration of past failures which will (now) be seen in a different light, as priceless stepping-stones, (which are) so instrumental in the process of anyone's eventual success. One will learn that "perseverance" has a specific language all of it's own that must be adhered to and put into daily practice. A good example: one must never say 'never' UNLESS it is used like this: "Iwill never give up." Watch how the words "I can't" is used - which actually says, "I won't" or the use of the phrase " I never could." Always remember: what anyone says will determine what that personwill do.One will soon realize that they can do "anything" when they "believe" (that) they can! And Nothing! No nothing is impossible for those who believe! Thomas Jefferson give some wonderful advice when he said, "Never put off for tomorrow what you can do today." So! Go Forth, this day, my Cherub and stay the course and continue to exercise that wonderful "can do" spirit that God has instilled in you! God has put your feet upon an awesome training path! Overcome and persevere!I so well remember a young lad, in spite of having been born with massive heart challenges, successfully climb Pompeii's 4,203′ Mt. Vesuvius, one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes. During that most challenging climb, to each of others queries of well-being he responded with anaffirmation that he was OK and that he was going to make it to the top.Indeed! He succeeded and conquered Mt. Vesuviusbecause he refused to give up and quit! He put into action and exercised one of those "seeds" (of greatness!) that God has put within him: the seed of perseverance! If we all would only remember Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."... we can WIN!Ms. CiCi has a gift of teaching, is an accomplished author and world traveler who enjoys sharing her life's experiences with others, making their life a little easier.
